Wapen: Gevierendeel: I en IV, gedeel, regs in silwer drie rooi torings geplaas 2 en 1, links deursnede van goud en blou, in die skildhoof staande op 'n groen grond 'n pronkende pou van natuurlike kleur en in die skildvoet drie silwer pennings geplaas 2 en 1; II en III, in blou 'n uitstralende ster en in die skildhoof drie wassenaars, alles van silwer, oor alles heen 'n goue ovaalvormige hartskild, die buiterand opgekrul, belaai met 'n rooi klimmende halwe eeu uitkomend uit drie golwende groen streepbalke. Die skild oortop van 'n goue vlootkroon met 'n uitkomende voorstelling van Britannia wat met haar regterhand 'n drietand en haar linkerhand 'n onklaar anker ondersteun, alles van natuurlike kleur. Agter die skild twee skuinsgekruiste ankers van natuurlike kleur, goud gekabel.

Arms: Quarterly: I and IV, per pale, the dexter Argent, three towers placed 2 and 1 Gules, the sinister per fess Or and Azure, in chief on a mount Vert a peacock in his pride proper and in base three plates placed 2 and 1 Argent; II and III, Azure, an estoile and in chief three crescents Argent; over all an oval cartouch with scrolled edges Or, charged with a demi-lion rampant Gules, issuant from three barrulets wavy Vert. The shield ensigned of a naval crown or, issuant therefrom a representation of Brittania supporting with the dexter hand a trident and with the sinister hand a fouled anchor proper. Behind the shield two anchors in saltire proper, cabled Or.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 22, 1999.

These are the arms of Simon's Town, transferred to the society when Simon's Town was incorporated into the new South Peninsula Municipality.
