  • (1818) Van zilver beladen met het beeld van St. George te paard.
  • (1840) een blaeuw veld met het gulden beeld van H. Georgius.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on April 25 1818 and in changed colours on June 30, 1840.

The arms are canting, showing St. George (Joris) killing the dragon. St. George is first mentioned as the patron saint of the village in 1129. All seals of the village have shown St. George.
