- (nl) Van sabel met het schildhoofd van zilver beladen met drie naast elkander geplaatste vogels van sabel, gebekt en gepoot van keel, het schild geplaatst voor en naar de rechterzijde van eenen Heiligen Lambertus houdende in de rechterhand een naar linksch gewenden bisschopsstaf, in de linkerhand een open boek en onder zijne voeten verpletterend een gehelmden krijgsman houdende in de linkerhand een zwaard, dit alles van goud.
- (fr) De sable au chef d'argent chargé de trois oiseaux de sable becqués et membrés de gueules rangés, l'écu posé devant et vers la dextre d'un Saint Lambert tenant de la dextre une crosse épiscopale tournée à senestre, de Ia senestre un livre ouvert et écrasant sous ses pieds un guerrier casqué tenant de la senestre une épée, le tout d'or.
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on February 10, 1936.
Saint Lambertus is the local patron saint, and on the 16-17th century seals he is shown holding the arms of the local Lords. In the above arms the shield is the arms of the Hinnisdaal family, Lords of Sint-Lambrechts-Woluwe in the 17th century. The village then formed the capital of the County Kraainem.
