In front of a pillar on a mount a stag trippant.
Motto: Fortibus ardua cedunt

Origin/meaning

The Stag is from the arms of the University and the Pillar is from the badge of the Home Command, the parent Command of the Squadron. The Motto translates as "Difficulties yeild to gallant men". The Badge was granted in July 1951.
