Shield: Parted per pall Celeste, Tenné and Sanguine, a fillet pall Or, overall a vulcano issunat from base Sable, flaks edged and fumant in chief of the fourth, surmounted throughout by a lightning bolt palewise Gules, fimbriated Gold.
Crest: From a wreath Or and Celeste, a rising sun with ten rays theron three palm fronds, two in saltire andone palewise Vert, surmounted by an Eastern dragon Tenné, garnished Or, scaled and finned Gules, armed of the last.
Motto: Strike with honor.

Distinctive Unit Insignia Description: On a Gold metal and enamel device 1 1/4 inches (3.18 cm) in height overall, blazoned: Parted per pall Celeste, Tenné and Sanguine, a fillet pall Or, overall a vulcano issunat from base Sable, flaks edged and fumant in chief of the fourth, surmounted throughout by a lightning bolt palewise Gules, fimbriated Gold. Arched beneath the shield a Black scroll inscribed "STRIKE WITH HONOR" in Gold metal letters.

Origin/meaning

The Blue filed the Colour of Infantry symbolises the capability to secure and protect. The Tenné (Orange) of the Signal Corps symbolises the Signal capabilities. The Sanguine Field represent the Logistical capabilities. The Erupting Volcano symbolises the State of Hawaii the home station of the Battalion. The Lightning bolt is from the Shoulder Sleeve Insginia of the 25th Infantry Division. The rising Sun in the Crest alludes to the ten decorations awarded to the Battalion, including a Philippine Presidental Unit Citation and two Republic of Korea Presidental Unit Citation. The three Palm leaves indicates the three major conflicts the Battalion has participated in - World War II, Korea and Vietnam. The Easten Dragon represents the Pacific Rim where these engagements occured.

The Coat of Arms and Distinctive Unit Insignia was both approved on 12 January 2006. The Symbolism was changed on 8 February 2006.
