STAFFA

Uninhabited island, part of Argyll and Bute.

Arms (crest) of Staffa

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

Staffa is an uninhabited island since 1800. During the 196late 20th century many series of fake stamps were issued for the island. The First Day Covers featured a coat of arms for Staffa.

I have no information on the origin or meaning of these.
