Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 15, 1964.

The miner's tools in the upper half refer to the former mining in the area as well as to the present stone quarry in Stallehr for the cement factory in Lorüns. The three rings are taken from the arms of the 17th century Von Rudberg family, who originated from Stallehr.

Literature : Burmeister, 1975
