Official blazon

  • (old) In geteiltem Schild oben in Blau drei (1:2) silberne Mauersteine auf der Teilung, unten in Grün ein silberner Wellenbalken.
  • (new) In Blau auf erhöhtem grünem Schildfuß, darin ein silberner Wellenbalken, eine durchgehende, getreppte (3:4) silberne Quadermauer.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on December 15, 1976.

The seven stones symbolise the seven former municipalities, joined together as seen in the wall. The wavy bar symbolises the Wiese stream that runs through the municipality.
