Stugun kommunvapen

Official blason

I grönt fält en bjälke, åtföljt ovan av ett grekiskt kors och nedtill av två granar, allt av silver.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 10, 1947.

The silver bar symbolises the main road from the coast to Nidaros (now Trondheim) in Norway. On the place where is now Stugun was an important lodge for a long time. The cross is the cross for the archdiocese of Uppsala to which the local church belongs. The green colour and the two trees refer to the forests and forestry.
