SULMECK-GREITH

State : Steiermark
District : Deutschlandsberg
Incorporated into : 2015 Sankt Martin im Sulmtal

Wappen von Sulmeck-Greith

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 16, 1986.

In the municipaluty lies the confluence of the Weiße Sulm and the Schwarze Sulm rivers. These are represented by a white and a black bend wavy conjoined. The bunch of grapes indicates that viticulture has a long tradition in this part of Styria. The farmers produce white wines in general and also the Styrian national drink, the Schilcher, of good quality
