SVETI JURIJ OB ŠČAVNICI

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted on April 12, 1995.

The arms show the local patron saint, St. George (Slovenian Sveti Jurij ) killing the dragon. The present arms differ in colours from the historical arms, which also show the saint.
