TĂUȚII-MĂGHERĂUȘ

District/county (județ) : Maramureș

Stema Tăuții-Măgherăuș

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on March 23, 2016.

The chisel and the hammer represent the activity specific to the area, mining, these being existing elements in the old coat of arms of the locality, from 1807.

The bunches of grapes symbolize the viticultural richness of the area.

The mural crown with three crenellated towers means that the town has the status of a city.
