Origin/meaning

The arms were officially adopted in June 1996.

The azure band represents the local waters, especially the water table, and is adorned with three ermine tails of silver, symbol of Brittany. The base refers to the mining history of the area.

The upper half shows an oak branch for the local forests, crossed with a canting linden (tilleul) branch.
