THE CARABINIERS (6TH DRAGOON GUARDS), BRITISH ARMY

History: Raised in 1685 as the Queen Dowager's Horse, becoming in 1788 6th Dragoon Guards (Carabiniers). In 1922 amalgamated with 3rd Dragoon Guards (Prince of Wales's), British Army to form 3rd/6th Dragoon Guards.
