Official blazon
The Crest of the Marquess of Huntly, viz. a stag's head above a ducal coronet within a wreath of ivy; on the bottom of the wreath a scroll inscribed "Bydand" (Stand fast). In silver plate or white metal.
Origin/meaning
The badge alludes to the founding of the regiment by George, Marquess of Huntly later Duke of Gordon.
