Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on October 9, 1985.

The municipality was newly created in 1972. The tower in the base refers to the Speinshart monastery, which had large possessions in all the villages in the municipality until 1803.

The deer is taken from the arms of the Hirschberg family, who owned the Weihersberg estate in the municipality from 1625 until the 19th century.
