TRUȘEȘTI

District/county (județ) : Botoșani

Stema Trușești

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on April 9, 2014.

The spiral evokes Țuguieta Hill, where valuable discoveries were made about the Cucuteni culture. The pattern is typical for the pottery of this culture. The spade blades represent archaeological research done in the area.

The commune has on its territory one of the most famous Cucuteni archeological finds.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
