Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, tăiat de o fascie crenelată de argint. În partea superioară, în câmp roșu, se află un tun de argint, pe afet cu roți, orientat spre stânga. Tunul este flancat dreapta-stânga de câte o crenguță de stejar cu câte două ghinde, de aur. În partea inferioară, în câmp albastru, se află o rață de aur, cu ciocul și labele roșii, stând spre dreapta. În vârful scutului se află un brâu undat de argint. Scutul este trimbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on May 30, 2007.

The composition at the top signifies the name of Tunari and the battles that took place in the First and Second World Wars, near Bucharest.

The bar symbolizes the defense forts of Bucharest, built at the beginning of the 20th century. The duck and the wavy bar determine the name of Pasărea Lake, on which the locality is located.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
