Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on March 6, 1975.
The bridge evokes the efforts of the settlers to make communication possible between the village and the agricultural area. The Calvary cross represents the foundation of the settlement, when a cross was erected, the fleur de lys are the attribute of the Blessed Virgin, patron saint of the city and the wavy base symbolizes the many rivers and rivulets which irrigate the region but had to be conquered to make the development of the region possible
The supporters show that coffee, corn and rice are important agricultural products of the region.
