Residence Halls

	Alumni Hall Blazon: Vert two chevronels argent between three dogs or The dogs represent the mascot of the hall, the green field and the white chevrons represent the colors. DOG is a symbol of the hall.
	Badin Hall Blazon: Argent chape ployé vert, a forg vert, the dexter chape with a palm branch argetn, the sinister chape a plier argent The frogs are the symbol of Badin, the three represent the Manual School of St Joseph, which occupied Badin hall, and the palm leaf represents St. Stephen, the patron saint of Stephen Badin and tho whom the chapel is dedicated.
	Breen-Philipps Hall Blazon: Party per pale or and argent, to the dexter a hand gules and in chief gules a star argent between two crescents of the same, and on the sinister a pig sables over way of the same Based on the family arms of Breen (left) and Phillips (right). The colors were adapted to match those of the hall. The lion was changed into a pig, the mascot of Breen-Phillips hall.
	Carroll Hall Blazon: Taken from the coat of arms of the Carroll Family, adapted to the dorm colors. The hall is named after Charles Carroll, Founding Father and signer of the Declaration of Independence.
	Cavanaugh Hall Blazon: The shield is taken from the family arms of Cavanaugh, with the colors adapted to match green and purple, the colors of the hall.
	Dillon Hall Blazon: The shield is derived from the coat of arms of the Dillon family, in honor of Rev. Patrick Dillon, the namesake of the hall. The crescents were converted into the shape of a D, she symbol of the hall.
	Duncan Hall Blazon:
	Dunne Hall Blazon: In the top right, the cross and anchor of the congregation of holy cross. In the bottom left, a helmet of a sentinel, symbol of the hall.

	Farley Hall Blazon: teal, three palets or The colors reflect the Farley colors.
	Fisher Hall Blazon: Fisher's name and main event, the regatta, are symbolized by the waves and oars. Green and white are the hall colors.
	Flaherty Hall Blazon: The arms are taken from the arms of the Flaherty family. The colors and the mascot (the bears instead of the dragons) were adapted to match the hall colors.
	Howard Hall Blazon: The arms are based on those of the Howard family adapted to fit Howard Hall. The colors were changed to match those of Howard Hall, and the lions were substituted with ducks (the hall mascot).
	Keenan Hall Blazon:
	Keough Hall Blazon: The main design is taken from the coat of arms of the Keough family, while the colors are adopted to match those of the hall. The stars are a reference to our lady of Guadaloupe, patroness of the chapel in Keough Hall.
	Lewis Hall Blazon: The colors (blue and yellow) are the colors of the hall, and the chicks are the mascot of Lewis Hall.
	Lyons Hall Blazon: Lyone, symbol of the hall, and black and yellow are the colors of the hall
	McGlinn Hall Blazon: Argent a double-headed eagle vert, a bordure vert semy of trifoils argents The double headed eagle comes from the arms of the McGlinn family, and the shamrock is the symbol of McGlinn
	Morrissey Hall Blazon: Sable a saltire Or The yellow saltire is the symbol of saint andre, patron of Andrew Morrissey.
	O'Neill Hall Blazon: The read hand of Ulster is taken from the O'Neill family. The O is the symbol of the hall.
	Pasquerilla East Hall Blazon: The design is similar to that of Pasquerilla West, since they are twin dorms and named after the Pasquerilla family. The color red is the color of the dorm, and the lily is the symbol of St. Catherine of Siena, to which the dorm chapel is dedicated.
	Pasquerilla West Hall Blazon: The design is similar to that of Pasquerilla East, since they are twin dorms and named after the Pasquerilla family. The color purple is the color of the dorm, and the monstrance is the symbol of St. Claire of Assisi, to which the dorm chapel is dedicated.
	Ryan Hall Blazon: The shield is taken from the Ryan family arms, but the colours are modified from the hall colours.
	Saint Edwards Hall Blazon: Vert a cross flory between five martlets Or Taken from the assumed arms of King Edward, with the green instead of the blue.
	Siegfried Hall Blazon: Maroon three chevrons gray The colors gray and maroon are the colors of Siegfried.
	Sorin Hall Blazon: Azure a chevron or between in chief dexter a sun or and in chief sinister a escallop argent and in base a crown proper, on a chief or an otter proper The otter is the mascot of the hall.
	Stanford Hall Blazon: Vert, a griffin or The Stanford Griffin on a green field.
	Walsh Hall Blazon: The design is based on the family shield of the Walsh family since the Hall was named after Thomas Walsh. The colors were adapted to the Walsh Hall colors.
	Welsh Hall Blazon: The shield is taken from the Welsh family coat of arms. The bordure represents a whirlwind, the mascot of the hall. Argent, three fish naiant blue, a bordure blue of roundlents argent
	Zahm Hall Blazon: The colors are the colors of Zahm. The interwoven pattern represents both the Z, symbol of the hall, and the antlers of the Moose, also a symbol of the hall.
