Arms of Vallø

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially registered in 1965.

The clover symbolises that in the old municipality (before 1970) there were four parishes. The leaf also indicates the agricultural character of the municipality. The roses are a canting symbol for Lady Mette Rosenkrantz ('wreath of roses'), who built the local castle in the 16th century.
