Origin/meaning :
The arms were officially registered in 1965.

The clover symbolises that in the old municipality (before 1970) there wer four villages. The leaf also indicates the agricultural character of the municipality. The roses are a canting symbol for Lady Mette Rosenkrantz ('wreath of roses'), who built the local castle in the 16th century.
