Escudo de prata, molho de cinco espigas de verde, atados de ouro e acompanhados de duas mós de negro abertas e realçadas de ouro; Em contra-chefe, duas faixas ondadas, de azul. Coroa mural de cinco torres. Listel branco com os dizeres " MUNICÍPIO DE VALONGO " de negro.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on August 10, 1990.
Unfortunately I have no background information on these arms. Any information is welcome !
The previous arms were granted on November 23, 1935 and only differ in the crown.
