Official blazon:
Escudo de azul, com um cordeiro acompanhado em chefe por duas abelhas, tudo de prata e realçado de negro; burdadura cosida de negro, carregada de oito romãs de ouro, abertas de vermelho e folhadas de verde. Coroa mural de prata de cinco torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro : " VALPAÇOS ".

The arms were officially granted on February 7, 2005.
Unfortunately I have no background information on these arms. Any information is welcome !
Previously the city used the arms below, granted on May 4, 1936. The arms only differ in the crown.
