Origin/meaning
The arms were officially adopted on July 18, 2022.
The first quarters ahows the bell tower of the Sainte-Croix church, the oak refers to the local the forests and the century-old oaks bordering the roads and paths. The wavy division line symbolizes the Dordogne and the Sumène rivers. The bridge symbolizes the bridge of Monges which allowed the passage between Bort and Argentat.
