Kultakentässä aaltokoroinen, kaateinen polviorsi, jonka yläpuolella satteena vesipyörä; molemmat siniset.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 12, 1953.

The arms show the letter V, the town's initial, by two wavy lines, which symbolise the many waterways in the municipality. The wheel refers to the local industry.
