Escudo de verde, com um besante de ouro entre dois feixes de espigas de centeio do mesmo, atados de prata, tudo alinhado em faixa; em chefe, estrela de prata e, em campanha, monte de três cômoros de prata, firmado nos flancos e movente da ponta. Coroa mural de prata de três torres. Listel branco, com a legenda a negro: «VILA RUIVA - FORNOS de ALGODRES».
