Escut caironat: de sable, una creu patent rectilínia concavada d'argent. Per timbre, una corona mural de poble.
Origin/meaning
These arms have been officially granted on 22nd May 1992.
The cross Argent on Sable are the traditional arms of the village, developed around the church of Santa Maria. Vilamacolum belonged to the monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes.
