VILLAR-D'ARÊNE

Département : Hautes-Alpes

Armoiries de Villar-d'Arêne

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on June 11, 1970.
The arms show the high mountains and a chamois, a typical animal in the area. The red pale symbolises the old roman road from Briançon to Grenoble that runs through the municipality.
