Origin/meaning

The Green of the Field indicates courtesy and the spirit of service. The badges of sergeant (non-commissioned officer) and corporal (troop) in reference to the fact that the Residence provides service to non-commissioned officers and permanent troops. The Virgin of Africa alludes to the name of the Unit, and the border to the territorial area where it is located. The Coat of Arms was approved on 12 January 2015.
