Escudo de prata com um castelo de vermelho aberto e iluminado de ouro, tendo a primeira das torres laterais, rematada por um homem vestido de negro tocando buzina de ouro e outra torre lateral rematada por uma árvore de verde sustida de negro e frutada de ouro. Coroa mural de cinco torres de prata. Listel branco com legenda de negro : " CIDADE DE VISEU ".
