Un scut triunghiular, tăiat de un brâu undat albastru, conturat cu o filieră neagră, în partea de sus, și de aur, în partea de jos. Scutul este despicat în partiția superioară. În partea superioară, în dreapta, în câmp de aur, se află două ciocane negre de miner, încrucișate, înconjurate de o roată dințată, neagră, cu angrenajul conturat cu aur. Roata este văzută de sus. În partea superioară, în stânga, în câmp de argint, se află un brad verde, natural. În partea inferioară a scutului, în câmp roșu, se află o turlă de biserică de argint, de formă cilindrică, cu trei brâie; primele două sunt inegale și cilindrice, întrerupte la mijloc de o fereastră boltită, neagră; cel de al treilea este triunghiular și masiv, pe el fiind așezată o cupolă în formă de clopot, care se termină cu o cruce treflată. Totul este de argint. Dreapta-stânga se află două stele de aur cu cinci colțuri. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on August 23, 2018.

The mining hammers and the wheel represent mining, the main activity of the inhabitants, while the green fir symbolizes the abundance of coniferous forests, a source of income from ancient times to the present day.

The wavy bar represents one of the villages of the commune, Izvoru Mureșului.

The church tower represents the "Assumption of the Virgin" Monastery in Izvoru Mureșului village, and the two stars symbolize both a reality - the commune consists of two localities, Voșlăbeni and Izvoru Mureșului - and a legend of the two brothers Mureșul and Oltul, gone in the world to look for their father and turn into two rivers of tears shed by their mother. Hașmașul Mare, the mountain that dominates the locality, is the place where the two rivers spring, among the largest in Romania.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
