Province : Prešov

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on September 19, 1984.

The arms were originally granted to Starý Smokovec, but were taken over by the new municipality. The arms show a blue gentian and the Tatra mountains.

Vysoké Tatry is not a single town, but a collection of villages, mountain resorts and mountain huts, many of which use non-official arms. The arms are widely used in the villages though. The capital is Starý Smokovec.
