State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) :Calw
Incorporated into : 1975 Altensteig

Walddorf.jpg

Official blazon

In Grün eine dreilatzige silberne Fahne.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on June 16, 1948.

The arms are based on those of the Counts of Tübingen, as they ruled the village in the 13th and 14th century. The green colour refers to the Wald-(forest) part of the name.

Until 1948 the village used a seal with a village in a forest, as the name means forest-village.

The seal as used until 1948
