WEHR

State : Baden-Württemberg
District (Kreis) : Waldshut
Additions : 1972 Öflingen

Wappen von Wehr (Baden)/Arms (crest) of Wehr (Baden)
Official blazon
German In Silber ein blauer Wellenbalken, auf den Wellenlinien nebeneinander stehend oben vier grüne, unten vier silberne Laubbäume.
English blazon wanted

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted in 1902.

The arms are a combination of the Wehra river and the many linden trees in the local forests. The only historical seal dates from 1850 and shows a wavy bar with the letter W.
