WEYHE

State : Niedersachsen
District (Kreis) : Diepholz (until 1979 Grafschaft Hoya)
Additions : 1974 Kirchweyhe, Leeste, Sudweyhe

Wappen von Weyhe
Official blazon
German In Silber drei gesenkte rote Schräglinksbalken, aus dem oberen wachsend ein golden bewehrter, rot bezungter roter Löwe.

Origin/meaning

The arms were adopted in 1979.

The arms are based on the old arms of Kirchweyhe, with the addition of an extra red bend in the lower half. The three bends now refer to the three former municipalities.
