Arms of Worshipful Company of Masons

Official blazon

Arms : Sable, on a chevron engrailed between three castles argent, garnished with doors and windows of the field, a pair of compasses extended also sable.
Crest: On a wreath of the colours, A castle argent.
Motto : God is our guide.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted in 1472 or 1473, confirmed in 1520/1 and entered at the Visitation of 1634.
