Official blazon

A disc 2 1/2 inches (6.35cm) in diameter divided horizontally blue and white, a Roman numeral X – 1 1/2 inches (3.81cm) high with 1/8 inch (.32cm) members throughout, counterchanged, to be worn with blue field uppermost.

Origin/meaning

The shoulder sleeve insignia was approved for the X Corps on 19 Aug 1942. It was redesignated on 11 Sep 1958 for the X U.S. Army Corps. A distinctive unit insignia was not approved for the X U.S. Army Corps.
