Name used by a Cruiser in Service 1954-1975 and a Frigate in Service since 2002.

Official blazon

In keel een gouden leeuw met een kroon van drie bladeren en twee paarlen van hetzelfde, getongd en genageld van azuur, houdende in de opgeheven rechtervoorklauw een ontbloot zwaard van zilver, met gouden gevest en in de linker een bundel van zeven zilveren pijlen, de punten omhoog.


Origin/meaning

The badge is based on the Generality's Arms of the Republic of the Seven United Netherlands (1588-1795). The badge was approved 26 July 1952.
