In azuur een zeeleeuw van zilver, getongd en genageld van keel. Als embleemspreuk OP PROOI BELUST in Latijnse letters van zilver op een lint van azuur.
Origin/meaning
The badge shows a canting Sealion. The Motto translates as "Eager for Prey". The badge was approved 25 August 1954. The name has been used by two Submarines, the first in Service 1953-1969 and the second in Service since 1990.
