ZWARING-PÖLS

State : Steiermark
District : Graz-Umgebung

Origin/meaning :
The arms were granted on September 18, 1995.

The municipality was created in 1968 by uniting two old municipalities, Zwaring and Pöls. These were separated by the river Kainach and are now linked by a bridge. The green balls symbolise the various parts of the municipality.
