Province : Liège
Additions : 1977 Membach

Armoiries de Baelen

Official blazon

De gueules chapé-ployé d'argent à trois roses de l'un à l'autre, boutonnées du champ et barbées de sinople.

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on December 18, 1991.

The arms are those of the Pirons family, the last Lords of Baelen in the late 18th century. In 1737 Jacques-Antoie Pirons bought the village.
