Country : Norway Province: Innlandet (until 2020 Oppland) |
Norwegian | På sølv grunn blå skjoldfot med spiss oppover. |
English | blazon wanted |
Origin/meaning
The arms were granted on January 23, 1987.
The arms are based on the shape of the local church. The church has a typical shape and is situated on a small hill, which makes it visible from a large distance and thus a good symbol for the village.
Literature: Norwegian Municipal Network and Norske Kommunevåpen, Kommunalforlaget, 1987.
