Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, împărțit în 3 cartiere dispuse în formă de furcă. În partea superioară, pe fond roșu, se află o cunună din spice de grâu de aur. În dreapta, pe fond de azur, se află un brad dezrădăcinat de argint. În stânga, pe fond de argint, se află o daltă și un ciocan de culoare neagră. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 11, 2013.

The fork shape represents the 3 hills that surround the locality. The wreath of wheat ears represents the wealth of the commune.

The uprooted fir tree symbolizes the mountain area where the Maieru commune is located. The chisel and the hammer symbolize the ancestral occupation of the inhabitants of the commune, stone carving.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
