Un scut triunghiular cu marginile rotunjite, împărțit în trei, cu partiția mediană în vârf de țeapă. În dreapta, pe fond de azur, se află un pește de argint poziționat în bară, spre stânga, cu capul în sus. În mijloc, pe fond roșu, se află o balanță de aur în echilibru, deasupra căreia se află o sabie de aur așezată cu lama în sus, în formă de flacără. În stânga, pe fond de azur, se află o crenguță de măr cu un fruct și 9 frunze, totul de argint. Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint cu un turn crenelat.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on December 11, 2013.

The fish symbolizes the fishing lake from Brăteni.

The sword of fire and the balance of justice refer to the Holy Archangel Michael, who gives the name of the locality and is the patron of the wooden church from 1755 from Sălcuța, historical monument dedicated to the "Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel".

The apple branch represents the apple orchards in the area.

The mural crown with a crenellated tower means that the locality has the rank of commune.
