German heraldry:

Selected collector's items from Germany:

SCHÜLLDORF

State : Schleswig-Holstein
District (Kreis) : Rendsburg-Eckernförde
Amt : Amt Eiderkanal (until 2007 Amt Osterrönfeld)

Wappen von Schülldorf

Official blazon

(de) Von Rot und Silber im Verhältnis 1 : 2 stufengiebelförmig (zwei Stufen) geteilt. Oben drei silberne Ähren nebeneinander; unten zwei blaue Fische übereinander.

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on July 30, 1980.

The division line is taken from the arms of the medieval Von Dosenrode family, who played a major role in the local history. The chief shows three wheat-ears, symbol for the agricultural character of the municipality.

The two fish symbolise the two lakes in the municipality, the Schülldorfer See and the Dorfsee.
The colours are those of Schleswig-Holstein.
