German heraldry:

Selected collector's items from Germany:

WEIFENBACH

State : Hessen
District (Kreis) : Marburg-Biedenkopf (until 1973 Biedenkopf)
Incorporated into : 1974 Biedenkopf

Wappen von Weifenbach

Official blazon

(de) In Gold eine blaue Wellendeichsel zwischen drei roten Garnrädern mit schwarzen Speichen (1:2)

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on October 7, 1959.

The wavy bends symbolise the Weifenbach river and thus are a canting element. The spindle wheels are also a canting element, these were part of a tool, which historically was known as Weife in German.
