Wappen von Diemelsee

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were officially granted on February 8, 1980.

The star is taken from the arms of the State of Waldeck. The rose and the colours are taken from the arms of the Lords of Padberg, of which one branch was also Lords of Adorf.

The division line is a canting symbol for the -See (Lake) part of the name.
