Selected collector's items from Germany:

BERNSTEIN AM WALD

State : Bayern
District (Kreis) : Hof (until 1973 Naila)
Incorporated into : 1978 Schwarzenbach am Wald

Wappen von Bernstein am Wald

Official blazon

Origin/meaning

The arms were granted on October 2, 1974.

The upper part of the arms is derived from the arms of the former Lords of Reitzenstein, who owned the Bernstein estate until 1752. The lower part is canting for the latter part of the name (am Wald means in the woods).
