SCHILLERSLAGE
State : Niedersachsen
District (Kreis) : Region Hannover (until 2001 Hannover (until 1974 Burgdorf))
Incorporated into : 1974 Burgdorf
Official blazon
- (de) In Gold über zwei blauen Schlüsseln mit abgewendeten Bärten ein schreitender rotbewhrter blauer Löwe.
Origin/meaning
The arms were officially granted on April 6, 1967.
The lion is the lion of the Dukes of Lüneburg, to whom the village historically belonged for a very long time. The keys are taken from the oldest medieval lords of the village, the Lords von Escherde.
